Halvo Shores Branding
Bit of a preview of some branding work we've been working on for new Danish styled heritage menswear brand Halvø Shores.
Metallic Inspiration
When ever you come to design a room inspiration is crucial and it really can come from anywhere - a piece of art, your travels, TV, magazines or your favourite blog!
When I start the design process I try to look at current trends and how they can be interpreted into a scheme in a way that makes them look timeless. For instance a big trend durning London Fashion Week 2012 was metallics - try working these into your wardrobe season after season....a tough challenge!
But in designing and decorating a room subtle touches can work and have longevity making a sound investment. Take this version of the massively popular Normann Copenhagen Norm 03 lamp in steel, reworking a classic piece with a metallic edge.

Or this aluminum finish Magis Chair One thats adds a bit of bling while still being a fantastically edgy piece.
The king of incorporating metallics must be Tom Dixon, fusing metallics with rough contrasting textures and deep rich colours to make awe inspiring interiors like the example below his Tazmania Ballroom, Hong Kong.
