In case you've forgotten Valentines Day is tomorrow, yes tomorrow. The day that strikes fear in the hearts of all couples with the panic that they need to express their feelings by spending £2.50 on a card. Now, if you either; have a life and haven't even thought about the day, or naturally resist any commercial cards and roses combo, you'll be pleased to read we've put together a selection of DIY and printable Valentines alternatives so you'll not only look inventive and away from the boring commercial side of the day, but thoughtful and organised.
Glad to say that my other half is far too busy being a architect to read this blog so I can get away with making any of the following without him realising it's last minute! The likely alternative is that I bake a some lovely pie and crack open a bottle of red. Simple, but that's the best way to celebrate!

Creative Paper - Emma van Leest
While were all familiar with Rob Ryan and his expert paper cutting techniques, Emma van Leest is from much further afield in Australia creating paper cuts on a whole other level.
Creating beautifully crafted layered artworks and now branching out into accessories, it has certainly got us thinking about Christmas presents! Armed with a scalpel and a steady hand I'm feeling all overcome with the crafty bug - however, I have yet to see if my attempt can cut the mustard...
