I Want to Design on BBC2

So if you weren't crazy enough to be up at 5am this morning you'll have missed Becci presenting on BBC2's I Want to Design, on the back of our successful show I Want My Own Room, Becci was asked to present a series of videos for primary schools to learn the elements of design that were in the show.

Demonstrating perspective, 3D model making, logo design and collage making - we're so pleased to be contributing to the education of tomorrows designers!

BBC2 'I Want to Design' Preview

Ahead of tomorrow's show I Want to Design  on BBC2 at 5am, where I (Becci Sharkey) show kids how to design through video tutorials and how to guides, a preview has been posted on the BBC2 website so you can see what I've been up to. It's difficult watching myself on TV so I'm trusting everyone else that it went OK! Although I've been told I look rather enthusiastic about design!

I Want to Design: New Show Sneak Peek...

So back in November I recorded a series called 'I Want to Design', a series of short videos how to do various aspects of design, from logos to 3D design etc.. for primary school kids. They launch on 1st February for BBC Learning, but in the meantime here's a sneak peek of the little studio...

I Want My Own Room BBC2

Our very own Becci Sharkey will be appearing on Saturday 8th October on BBC2's I Want My Own Room. The first of three episodes this first one features a young boy wanting an outdoor office space, check out our behind the scenes photos as soon as the programme has been on - don't want to ruin any surprises!

Blackbird Design Studio designer Becci Sharkey said "It was an amazing experience to design these rooms,  probably the most challenging but fun clients I've ever had!".
